My name is Zoe Laetizia Flindris and my journey began over 15 years ago on the glittering ice rinks of Berlin. Even as a young figure skater, I felt inspired to design my own costumes, sew them with my mother and wore them to every competition. It was precisely in these moments that I not only developed a sense of my individual style, but also my understanding of fashion as an expression of personal identity - regardless of size and body measurements. The experience of being able to bring my own ideas to life was the foundation for the founding of ZOA Swimwear.

My later experiences as a professional curvy model showed me how unfair today's fashion world is. I find the exclusion of plus size women from current fashion trends discouraging and unfair. Why don't all women - regardless of their size - have the same access to beautiful fashion? Why do well-known brands and fashion houses primarily serve small sizes when the reality is so different?

The idea for ZOA was born. It was these experiences that motivated me to develop fashion for curvy women and thus set an example for equality. I chose swimwear as a category because that is where the disadvantage of plus size women is greatest!

The creation of ZOA Swimwear marks the realization of my lifelong dream of creating a fashion brand dedicated to creating modern and high quality swimwear for curvy women. Each piece of clothing in my collection is not only an absolute fashion statement, but also takes different body shapes into account for an optimal fit and high wearing comfort.
